By using the EMMZED website and ordering from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

🏪About us

EMMZED is an online marketplace based in Lusaka, Zambia. We offer: Products for sale, Services from trusted providers, and Hire & Rent of equipment and vehicles.

💰Prices & payments

• All prices are in Zambian Kwacha (ZMW) unless stated otherwise.
• We work hard to keep prices accurate, but we may correct errors at any time. If a price is clearly wrong, we will contact you before completing the order.
• Payment is made via Airtel Money to the number shown at checkout. Please pay the exact amount for your order.
• Your order is confirmed once we verify your payment on our side. We will confirm via WhatsApp.

🛒Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. It becomes a confirmed order once we accept it (usually by WhatsApp confirmation and/or payment verification).
• Stock levels can change quickly. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you to offer a refund or an alternative.
• You are responsible for giving us a correct phone number and delivery address.

🚚Delivery

• We aim for same-day delivery in Lusaka when you order before 15:00. Deliveries outside this may take longer.
• Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic or other events outside our control.

↩️Returns & refunds

If something arrives damaged or wrong, please tell us within the window described on our Delivery & Returns page and we will make it right. Certain items (e.g. opened food) cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

🎉Hire & rent

• Hire and rent bookings are day-wise as shown. A deposit may be required.
• You agree to return hired/rented items in the same condition they were delivered, ordinary wear and tear excepted. You are responsible for loss or damage beyond normal wear.
• Vehicle rentals are subject to a valid driver's licence and the conditions stated at booking.

🔧Services

Service providers listed on EMMZED are independent. EMMZED connects you with them and facilitates booking and payment, but each provider is responsible for the quality of their own work. If you are unhappy with a job, contact us and we will help resolve it.

🛍️Seller content

Some products are listed by third-party sellers. Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. EMMZED is not liable for listings that a seller has misdescribed, but we will assist in resolving disputes.

The EMMZED name, logo, design and content belong to us (or their respective owners). You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without permission.

⚖️Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EMMZED will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

🗓️Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last reviewed. Continued use of the site means you accept the current terms.

🏛️Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Zambia, though we will always try to resolve things amicably first.
