🔐Who we are
EMMZED ("we", "us", "our") is a Zambian online marketplace based in Lusaka, Zambia. We sell quality products, offer trusted services, and allow hire and rent bookings — mostly ordered through WhatsApp.
📋What information we collect
- Contact details — your name, phone number (WhatsApp), email address and delivery address when you order, enquire or create an account.
- Order information — what you ordered, delivery details, order status and your order history.
- Payment confirmations — the transaction details we need to confirm your Airtel Money payment (we never store your PIN or your full mobile money account secrets).
- Messages — anything you send us via WhatsApp or our contact forms.
- Technical data — basic device/browser information and approximate location collected by our visitor tracker, so we can understand how the site is used.
🎯How we use your information
- To process, confirm and deliver your orders.
- To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
- To send order updates and delivery notifications via WhatsApp.
- To verify payments and prevent fraud.

🤝Who we share it with
- Delivery partners — so your order can reach you.

- Service providers & sellers — only what is needed to fulfil your order or booking.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
🔒How we protect your data
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information. Payments are made through Airtel Money, which you authorise yourself — we will never ask for your PIN or password. Never share your PIN with anyone, including anyone claiming to be EMMZED.
⏳How long we keep it
We keep order and payment records for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete personal data that we are not legally required to keep.
